The format for this meeting will vary depending on whether we have planned an event focused on a topic or if we have left it open and unplanned.  We sometimes will invite a special guest who will speak to us about a particular issue.  Other times the 3rd Thursday will become our "Impromptu Movie Night" in which attendees are invited to bring their issue oriented DVDs and we will choose one to watch by consensus.  Depending on who shows up and the mood of the group, we might decide to have a round table discussion for the evening.  Whatever the format, 3rd Thursday meetings are a good way to connect with fellow Whittier Area Peace People.
